Our Student Successes
Rachel Kane
A Level student Rachel Kane achieved an A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics and an A in Chemistry. Rachel has secured a place at the University of Bristol to study Physics.
Flynn Clegg
Flynn secured a Triple Distinction* in Biomedical Science and has gone on to study Bio-veterinary Science at the University of Liverpool.
Emily Morbey
Former School: The Holy Family School
Studied: A Levels in Biology (A*), Mathematics (A*) and English Language (A*)
Destination: Human Sciences degree at the University of Oxford’s Keble College
Emily, who was the joint top-performing A Level student, initially secured a place at the University of Oxford’s prestigious Summer School, which confirmed her dream to study there. Discovering she had secured a place at Oxford on A Level Results Day, Emily said: “I’m ecstatic, I was convinced I wasn’t going to get in. It will be such an amazing place to study a course that really interests me. It has been a great experience at Selby College – I’m so grateful for the support of my lecturers!”
