Selby District Jobs & Careers Fair returns to Selby College
If you or someone you know is looking to change jobs, get back into work, find part-time work or an Apprenticeship, don't miss the 2019 Selby District Jobs & Careers Fair which will be held at Selby College on Thursday 26th September.
Previous years' events organised by Nigel Adams MP in partnership with Selby College and Job Centre Plus have proven popular with both jobseekers and the companies that have attended.
This year’s event will be the 9th Selby District Jobs Fair and will run from 2pm to 5pm in the Sports Hall of the Jubilee Building at Selby College.
Entry to the Jobs Fair is free to all visitors, with easy access to the campus just off Abbot's Road and free parking.
Stephen Peal of PPS Power was one of the first to book a stand this year, adding: "We have enjoyed attending this event for the last three years now and would love to make it a 4th.” The company is based in Sherburn in Elmet and supplies standby power generating systems. It prides itself on having a diverse workforce and aims to have at least 5% of its workforce made up of apprentices, graduates or sponsored students on structured programmes within the next five years.
Other companies and organisations which have already confirmed their attendance include Drax Power, The NHS and Yorkshire Police.
