Final preparations underway for annual Visual and Creative Arts Exhibition

Selby College’s Art, Design & Media department will be opening its doors for a showcase of a diverse range of work from their A Level, Vocational and Higher Education courses next Thursday.

All exhibited in the Renaissance Building at Selby College. It promises to be a visual extravaganza and not to be missed! Refreshments will be provided.

Please come and join us on Thursday 20th June from 6pm-8pm. Parents and prospective students will also have the opportunity to meet the lecturers and speak to our current students about their experiences of our courses.

Paul Belshaw, Subject Area Manager for Art, Design & Media said: "The students and staff from our Art, Design & Media courses have worked together to put on yet another outstanding show of creative work this year. We are celebrating some excellent work across all of the subject areas and levels and will be featuring photography, fine art pieces of all kinds, mixed-media and time-based installations, moving image, animations… there’s just so much to experience! The exhibition is a great showcase for creative talent and demonstrates the really high level of technical excellence the students have attained as they prepare for further study and exciting careers in the creative industry."
