Enthusiastic students from Holy Family High School visited Selby College recently to record the vocals for their debut musical, which they produced over the summer.
The musical, entitled ‘Red’ was written by a team of 7 year 10 students and is a dark and twisted take on the classic fairy-tale ‘Little Red Riding Hood.’
Students from across all year groups sang, danced and acted their way through auditions for the production before wowing audiences with multiple show- stopping performances.
To celebrate the hard work and dedication of the students, staff arranged for them to visit Selby College to record their vocals.
As part of a live project, second year Music technology students recorded and produced the collection of songs, using the colleges purpose built recording studio and state-of-the-art equipment. The collaboration between Selby College and Holy Family High School will result in a full CD version being available to buy directly from the school before Christmas.
