Ben Isherwood, Lucy Hatton and Craig Gilbane beat off stiff competition from hundreds of hopefuls to earn a place in the kitchen's at Jamie's Italian in York.
The trio, ex-pupils from The Snaith School; Howden School and Technology College and The Holy Family Catholic High School, described their achievement as "exciting" and said they were looking forward to building on the skills and confidence they developed during their time at Selby College. However, they said they couldn't have done it without the help and support of their Tutors and Guidance and Support Tutors.
